a Giant refusal to let evil stand

The New York Giants beat the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 42 by a score of 17-14 and it is nothing short of divine intervention that destroyed such evil as the Patriots. It was a season that finally lifted the veil of the evil at work within the Patriots organization and led to some serious consequences as below, quoted from ESPN.
"Commissioner Roger Goodell fined Bill Belichick $500,000 - the biggest fine ever for an NFL coach - and the team $250,000 after determining New England violated league rules by videotaping defensive signals from Jets coaches in the teams' regular-season opener. The Patriots also will have to forfeit either a first-round draft choice or second- and third-round picks which is again unprecedented in the NFL."

Even more problems are now surfacing for the Patriots as the United States Congress is now demanding more investigation into the illegal activities done by New England and also why the NFL destroyed the evidence so quickly after the investigation. Even a previous Super Bowl win by New England is starting to come under question due to their illegal spying on other teams.

This victory by the New York Giants is that much sweeter since the Patriots got so close to the perfect season and then stumbled to lose the Super Bowl on the national stage. Cheers to the 1972 Dolphins as they remain the sole holder of the perfect NFL season in history. And a huge congratulations to the New York Giants.
